Eric Nguyen is a Principal with L Capital Diligence & Advisory, where he leads the firm’s deal origination platform. He is responsible for developing proprietary deal flow, and expanding the firm’s executive network. In this role, Eric builds strategic partnerships between “backable” senior leaders and private equity investors, aligning leadership talent with compelling market opportunities and new platform pursuits. As a senior member of the team, he also contributes to overall firm strategy and management.
Experience:
- Eric brings over two decades of experience supporting growth investors and private equity sponsors across a broad range of industries, including business services, consumer, industrials, healthcare, software, internet, and technology.
- Before rejoining L Capital, Eric served as Principal, Knowledge & Advisory at a private equity-focused diligence advisory and executive search firm, where he specialized in the Consumer, Industrial, and Business Services sectors.
- Earlier in his career, as Vice President of Research & Service Delivery at L Capital Advisors, Eric played a key role in launching the firm’s pre-deal advisory business. Additionally, he led numerous CEO, board, and operating partner searches as an Engagement Manager and worked closely with the firm’s partners on strategic and business development initiatives.
Education:
- Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science with a focus on Applied Economics and Operations Research from the University of California, San Diego.
